Buick revealed that the price of the 2014 version of the Regal has increased and hinted that this event was basically triggered by the series of improvements made on the vehicle.

Based on the information provided by the carmaker, the price of the facelifted 2014 Buick Regal will start at $30,615 including the destination charge of $925. This figure reflects a $705 increase over the price of the previous year’s model.

Buick revealed that the base model of the 2014 Regal comes with standard features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, the next-generation IntelliLink connectivity that features an 8-inch color display, rear vision camera, heated seats in front, leather-appointed seating surfaces and a new 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.

In addition to that, the 2014 Buick Regal can also be had with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with the eAssist but this will be sold at a starting price of $32,485 including the shipping charge. The all-wheel drive version of the 2014 Buick Regal on the other hand will be sold with a starting price of $32,790 including the destination charge.

Buick also revealed that the 2014 version of the Regal GS will be hitting the automobile market in the later part of this year. This will be sold at a starting price of $37,830 including shipping while the AWD version is priced at $40,195. With this price, the upcoming version of the front-wheel drive GS can be considered as a more expensive option compared to the 2013 Buick Regal Turbo GS which is sold with a starting price of $35,875 including the shipping charge of $895.

When it hits the market, the 2014 Buick Regal GS will come with standard features such as the sport seats, leather seating surfaces, high-intensity-discharge headlights, 19-inch aluminum tires that are fitted with all-season tires and a premium audio system from Bose.

Compared to the prices of some of its closest competitors such as the 2013 Acura TSX and the 2014 Volkswagen CC, the Regal can be considered as a cheaper option. This is because the price of the 2013 Acura TSX starts at $31,405 including the shipping charge of $895 while the 2014 Volkswagen CC is priced at $32,660 including the destination charge of $865.
